Microsoft Universal Windows Platform (UWP) Design Toolkits provide designers and developers with a functional and visual reference to create applications using the latest Windows patterin libraries. These libraries were constantly being updated to scale with the ever-evolving design of the Windows operating system.
Working across multiple teams, I contributed to the creation, update and maintenance of these libraries.

I contributed to the creation and upkeep of these libraries by helping acquiring an assets and ensuring that the controls and patterns being implemented in these libraries were an accurate representation of the ones that were presented on the Microsoft Technical Docs website.
This required me to keep myself updated on how the controls and patterns were evolving. It helped me to accurately represent the controls and patterns and mirror the underlying interaction behavior of each control with accuracy. This required a firm handle on file structure and taxonomy as the toolkits needed to be output in multiple various design software using the same file structure and taxonomy.
Once the toolkits were updated and run through QA, I sent the assets to the stakeholders for review. With one final check to see that no more changes were needed, I shipped the updated toolkit assets for publishing. The design libraries were published in Figma, Sketch, XD, Photoshop and Illustrator.
I was also responsible for training other designers within our team on producing and updating the libraries.
